How do I know if my watch needs a service?
A watch running noticeably fast or slow, stopping unexpectedly, or one that hasn't been serviced in six or more years may benefit from attention. If you're unsure, bring it in — we're happy to take a look and give you an honest sense of its condition without commitment.
How long does a standard service take?
Most standard services are completed within three to four weeks. More complex movements may take a little longer. We'll give you a realistic estimate when the watch comes in, and send updates as work progresses.
Will refinishing remove the original character of my watch?
Not if we work together on what the outcome should be. We discuss finish preferences before any work begins, and we're comfortable preserving honest wear where it suits the piece. We'll only remove marks you want removed.
How much does a heritage restoration cost?
Heritage restoration starts from ฿14,900. The final cost depends on the condition of the movement, the parts required, and the extent of conservation work needed. We provide a written assessment and cost plan before any work begins, so you have a clear picture.
Can you source replacement parts for older watches?
For many older movements, we're able to source period-correct parts. When genuine parts are unavailable, we can fabricate replacements by hand — this is often the path for truly vintage or collectible pieces, and it's discussed openly during the initial assessment.
Is the watch safe while it's with you?
Yes. Every watch received is logged, stored securely in our workshop, and handled with the same care you'd expect. We treat inherited and collectible pieces with particular attentiveness, and we're happy to discuss handling arrangements for especially precious items.
