How every service begins
Receive & Inspect
The watch is logged on receipt and examined carefully with appropriate tools before any further steps.
Share Findings
We share what we found clearly and honestly, and discuss what the watch needs and the available options.
Agree & Begin
Work proceeds only with the owner's agreement. Major work is confirmed in writing with a fixed cost.
Complete & Return
The finished watch is checked, and a plain account of what was done is provided at collection.
Service 01
Standard Service
A dependable service for mechanical and automatic watches, covering a full clean of the movement, fresh lubrication, and timing regulation so the watch runs comfortably again. Suited to owners maintaining a daily companion or reviving a piece left idle for a while. We provide an honest condition note, mention anything worth watching for the future without pressure, and offer a service warranty. Most watches are ready within a few weeks, with gentle updates along the way.

Service 02
Refinishing & Strap Service
A gentle cosmetic service that lifts everyday marks from cases and bracelets while preserving original lines, and can include fitting a fresh strap for comfort. We discuss the preferred finish first so the result matches the owner's taste, and protect dials and crystals throughout. A thoughtful option for a watch that runs well but could look tidier. We refinish only as far as agreed, often keeping honest patina where it lends character, and confirm costs in advance.

Service 03
Full Heritage Restoration
A comprehensive, sympathetic restoration for inherited and collectible watches, uniting movement repair with conservation of original detail. The work can include making replacement parts by hand, treating wear and corrosion, conserving aged dials, and rebuilding the watch to run dependably while honouring its past. Recommended for treasured family pieces. Each restoration begins with an honest, unhurried assessment and a written plan, carried out at the careful pace such delicate work requires.

Protocols applied across all services
Timing machine verification
Every serviced movement is checked on a timing machine across multiple positions before leaving the workshop.
Grade-appropriate lubricants
We use lubricants specified for each movement type and applied in the correct quantities — not a generic approach.
Secure storage and logging
Every watch is logged on receipt with a description and photograph. All pieces are stored securely throughout.
Dial and crystal protection
Dials and crystals are masked and protected throughout refinishing work. We don't remove or replace dials without discussion.
Honest scope management
We work within the scope agreed. If something unexpected arises mid-work, we pause and discuss before proceeding further.
Clear collection summary
Every watch is collected with a plain written summary of the work completed, parts replaced, and any observations worth noting.
